This Hanuman Mala celebrates the mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hum' - which reminds us to strive to bring forth the jewel within each of us.
It has been made with 108 beads of Painted Jasper, Banded Agate and Wood (8mm) hand knotted on strong cord with one knot between each bead. It has a conch shell guru bead carved with the mantra and is finished with a shorter golden handmade tassel.

Mantra: The Mantra OM MANI PADME HUM – translates to ‘the jewel is in the lotus’ but means (according to the Dalai Lama) “in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.”
Hanuman: is one of the most popular Hindu deities. He is an embodiment of service (Seva), devotion (Bhakti) and surrender (samarpan, egolessness). He is also considered an incarnation of Shiva. He is depicted as having a high chin (hence the name Hanuman) and facial features and a long tail resembling those of monkey. In physical characteristics he is shown in what appears to be 'sub-human', but he is considered to embody qualities that are divine/super human, which all of us aspire to have. He is endowed with tremendous physical and spiritual strength, courage and valor, fearlessness, high intelligence, vast knowledge and truthfulness of speech.
